I cant believe how much I have been scrapping lately, Today I want to share with you a layout I created for the challenge blog 'Scrap the boys'
The challenge for September was to create a layout based on an Outdoor activity.
So I decided to scrapbook Fletcher (again!). One of his favourite things to do on his bike is go down hills really fast with his feet off the pedals...here is my layout...
Ride like the Wind

Christopher Cross - Ride like the Wind (an all time favourite song of mine!!!)
I cant believe how much I have been able to scrap this month. Its amazing what happens when you organise yourself.
This layout was created for the September challenge over on Show us your stuff. The challenge was to create a layout using Red and White, and as always a handmade embellishment.
This is my layout...
There's no one quite like you
This is my little one, Fletch. and there is no one quite like him!
He has his strange little quirks, but if he didn't have them he would be my Fletch!
and a close up....
The felt circle with hearts is an embellishment I won over at Rainbow Splendour ages ago, white button with red hearts comes from my stash of Purple Pumpkin and the flag was created by me using a toothpick and washi tape (easy!)
Thanks for looking

This is Fletcher's favourite song, he sings it all the time...

I have been doing my lists daily...but don't complete them til the end of the day when the lighting here isn't all the best. So I thought I would save up and do 1 post every couple of days with my pages.

Franz Ferdinand - Right Actions (my fav song at the moment)
I loved the colours for the inspirational board over at D-lish this month, and the bonus is that there was also a 'just add paper' kit available (now sold out!!! got to be in real quick for these) which could be purchased from the D-lish online store. It came with some really great embellishments which I was able to incorporate into my layout.
Here is the inspirational board -
and here is my take on it...
and some close ups...
Everything in this cluster was in the citrus breeze 'just add paper' kit from delish.
I loved the vellum envelope with journaling card...
some lyrics from the song 'Lucky' by Jason Mraz which is what the title of my layout is based on
The white and yellow flowers come from the kit also...the blue flower was one in my stash from couture creations.
The blog has gone back to its original form of using White plus 1 other colour. This months colour was Pistachio - I had no idea what it was so I looked at my paint collection and found Kaiser craft had a paint so I took inspiration from that shade of green.
Here is my layout..
You're both amazing, just the way you are
Here are my 2 amazing little boys, love them so much.
I was lucky enough to win a place on the #30 days of list challenge for September.
Most of you that know me know I HATE journaling, and find it hard to put down in words what needs to be said....and also I HATE my hand writing!
I thought this challenge would be a great opportunity to start making lists as a way of journaling (im thinking baby steps....)
#30 days of lists as I said before runs throughout September giving you a list prompt for everyday of the month.
So here are the first few pages...(sorry for the bad images...its very hard to photograph the journal)

... cos its my Birthday on the 11th!!!
Getting back to the scrapping...
This month over on Scrap Lounge we are creating layouts based on....yep...you guessed it...BIRTHDAYS...so I was a little chuffed that it fell in the same month as my Birthday (although....I didn't scrap any pics of me for the challenges....)
First up as always we have our Sketch Challenge.
This months sketch was designed by the talented Jody.
And here is my example...
This layout is of Fletcher from his Birthday this year (he was 9)
and the next challenge was a colour inspired challenge based on this image...
and here is my layout...
This is my friends daughter Alyssa, she is so cute...this pic was taken at her 3rd birthday party and she was dressed up as a Princess.
you have to have your image uploaded into the gallery by Midnight (NSW time) 30th of September
And don't forget the Cyber Crop...it will be running from the 13th-16th of September.
