The Last day Of Summer - Kitty Kat Kisses

What a day its been, up early to take the kids to school, picked up mum and went out for breakfast and then got catch up with 2 of my favorite creative girlies....Renee and Gilly at my shop, Fancy That.
Then I went shopping, shopping oh and did i mention shopping???
Picked up the little monsters from school, did some homework and now Mummy time...well i get 5 minutes at least before i know i will hear "Mum, whats for dinner? Im Starving"
So I thought i would quickly add this layout to my blog to share with you...hope you like it...

Kitty Kat Kisses
Here is Fletch with our cat 'Tabby Abby Cat' I was lying in bed  early one morning and Fletch was giving her cuddles and when i got my phone out she was kissing his cheek so i just had to snap that pic...

This is a basic layout that I created using the WOW chipboard ‘Border Circles’ I painted the chipboard with Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam in Expresso Bean.
I have used basic Grey Papers from the Max and Whiskers collection and added Kaiser Bling.
I am sooo loving this new tool by We are Memory Keepers its called ‘Sew Easy’ and that is how I added the stitching to my layout. You run this tool along the paper and it perforates the holes for you. It has different attachments so you can change the type of stitch eg. Blanket, Running.

Here is a close up of the stitching on the layout...

yep just as i thought...'mum whats for dinner?' (oh well it lasted about 10 minutes at least)

So I will leave you now with a video from The Presidents of the United States of America...

A good nights sleep and a layout...Beach Boy

Finally a Good nights sleep, thanks to Hubby being away :)
I have no snoring to deal with, its wonderful...

The boys are chilling in the lounge watching a movie and then I promised them that they could do some painting, so while the movie is on i thought i would post another layout I have done.

Fletchy loves the water so I had to use this cute pic of him for this layout I had in mind...
Beach Boy was created using the Kaiser Craft 'Seaside' Collection. I used some Maya Mist – Hydrangea Blue on my cardstock for the background as the cream was too bright on its own. On the top right hand corner I stapled some mesh - i thought the mesh looked a little like coral to tie in with the beach theme.
I used Bella chipboard letters for the title (these are great and come in different colours!)

The Starfish border comes from WOW , I covered it with Glue and sprinkled
gold glitter over it. See below for a close up..

I sneezed while doing the glitter, and it went everywhere... I thought i had cleaned it all up, but im still finding glitter attached to stuff thats on my desk.

keeping with the Beachy theme...here is a cute video i found when i was looking for the beach boys the other day...The Muppets singing Kokomo...

Breathtaking

I stumbled across this layout I did a lil while back now and forgot to post it on here.

Fletchy loves nothing more then to play with this pinwheel, i often find him on his bed blowing on it (must calm him!) in this pic he had only had it for a couple of days and couldnt put it down, so before school one morning he was outside with it, and I couldnt resist but take a picture of it
(was very happy with the pic too may I add!!!)
I have used the paper range by Echo Park called Sweet Summertime.
I titled it using the chipboard word from WOW 'Breathtaking, I painted the chipboard yellow and used the heat gun to dry it and bubble the paint job for a bit of texture. I also added some Bling to the title.
I also made 2 pinwheels to the layout because lil Fletchy is blowing one in the pic.
The photo was edited in PhotoShop so i could highlight the pinwheel in Yellow while the rest of the photo was black and white.

Thought i would end with the next video clip, one of my fav songs (not sure why) hope you enjoy too..

A proper lil gentleman

I had some left over paper from a layout I did ages ago using the Graphic 45 'A proper Gentleman'
So I thought I would do a page with this cute picture of my son Andrew (he was only 4 in this pic, it was my Wedding Day - he looks adorable in his little suit)

I used WOW chipboard cogs and covered them with copper embossing powder.
I also used the new We are memory keepers 'Sew Easy' to create the chain for the fob watch - It is 'so easy' to use, i have used the "burst" stitch piercer.
This is one of my favorite layouts ive done :)

Mia Frame

Hello thought I would post a pic of my FIRST project I have done for the WOW Design Team...

This is my Adorable neice Mia.

I Created this frame using MDF Small Photo Frame from Words Or Whatever
I coated the edges, stand and back part of the frame with white gesso, once that was dry I then painted it with Making Memories Specialty Glaze paint – Amethyst.
I fell in love with the new Kaisercraft range called Magic Happens so I knew i had to use it for this project.
I used the Fairy Dust paper.
I used dimensional magic and Kindy Glitz to make the fairy sparkle. (can never have enough sparkle!!)

I found a cute poem which reads

"Few folk have seen a fairy,
But I found this one for you,
If you believe with all your might,
She'll make your dreams come true"

I printed the Poem onto co-ordinating paper and attached it to the right side of the frame, added a photo to the left and embellished with flower roses and then added rhinestones from Kaisercraft.
I then used white rub on lettering for the name ‘Mia’

I love it when I can scrap girly :)

More layouts and projects to come...just adding finishing touches to a couple and will post them here over the next few days..
