Show us your stuff blog challenge!

I came across this new challenge Blog and thought I would have a go at their First challenge...
it is called "Show us your stuff" the addy is http://showusyourstuff.blogspot.com/

The only rule they have for each challenge is that Each submission must include a handmade or hand dyed item made by either yourself or someone else. Easy!

The first challenge for December was a sketch from Michelle Fowler with the theme of flowers
here is the sketch...

here is my take on the sketch (sorry about the photo my camera is playing up atm)

The blue flower with the orange centre is a yoyo flower i made
(i was really happy with the way it turned out too!)
I used Kaisercraft Jungle Bug papers I also used some Dimensional Magic to make the 'Lorikeets' in the title stand out and the spots on the top left hand corner.. I started with a White cardstock as my background but is was far too over powering so i used some Tattered Angels Glimmer mist (Key Lime Pie & Turquoise Blue) to create a soft background that would compliment the papers...Luv Luv Glimmer Mist!!!

Thanks for Looking...

Im walking...

Went to see mr dr specialist man and he said i can walk on my foot now...but i cant run and jump or do anything to much for the next month and a half :( so still no Zumba for me...but more time for scrappin...

Thought i would post some layouts ive done...

This layout was one Tracey and I both did at SIA this year with Melissa Kennedy. It was a fantastic class and would totaly recommend doing one of her Kaisercraft classes. This layout was made use the Kaiser ' Le Chateau' range of papers, the Kaiser wooden embellishments, pearls, glimmer mist, distress paint and pic of me and hubby on our wedding day :)

This layout gave me my mojo back when this paper range was released by Kaiser. This is the Konstuct range of papers, i loved the colours that were in this range, they worked so well together. The title of this layout is 'looking for trouble' as it seems thats all Fletch can ever find, or it finds him...

This canvas layout was made using the 'Paper Boy' range by Scrap within reach.

To give the background a little somthing extra i used a stamp with some silver paint so it wasnt so solid, i found stamping on the canvas softend the colour and blended the papers well together.

The next layouts im sharing with you are from a range of kaiser papers again...this is the most used range in my albums...i love it sooo much...
'Prairie Lane' by Kaiser.

I thought i would add a personal touch to this layout and used some material from my wedding dress...

And the next layout i had to scrap a photo of my 2 bestest girls whom without i would not of had such a stress free day...

Fletch

I have to be off my feet for 2 weeks after the operation i just had, so i need to use 'Crutches' Lil Fletch keeps calling them 'Crunches' so cute.

Here is a Pic of Fletch trying to use my 'Crunches' :)

Here is a double page layout I did awhile ago,

Fletch doesnt like to do much with Daddy, he is more a Mummy's Boy so it was great to be able to see him 'Helping daddy'
I used October Afternoon Papers, Weathervane collection. I love using October Afternoon ranges, i would have to say they are one of my faves :)

Fletch has been watching Curious George, he loves the movie so i thought i would share my fav song from the soundtrack by Jack Johnson, its called Upside Down.

Baby Mia

Thought I would share a photo of the most cutest baby I know, MIA. She is my Bestest friend Nicole and her Husband Glens latest edition. And I am proud to say I am her Adopted Aunty :)

Mia had been asleep the whole time I was visiting, just as she was getting changed I was able to snap this cute shot of her eyes open.
Awww she is sooo Sweet, here is a pic of me and Mia.
Now to the Crafty Side of things...Here are the Pics of some of the gifts I made for Mia.
These are the Kaiser Drawers, they turned out fantastic. I used the Airy Fairy paper range to complete this, and LOTS of Kindy Glitz!

This is the Kaiser tissue Box I also prettied up for Mias Room, again using the Airy Fairy paper range.
Nicole and Glen LOVED them.
