Inspired Blueprints Sketch #70

Ive been at it again, creating some layouts and this time its a layout I have done for the Inspired Blueprints Sketch challenge #70

The Sketch is below...

And here is my take on it...

My lil Fletchy dressed up as BATMAN!

This is a close up of the title, I painted it silver and then made a black outline using my trusty black texta.
See the Batman symbol....i also made that myself :)
Ahh yes, Journaling something i am getting better at...

Close up of my embellishments i made...simple to make...used the Big Shot with my star cutting dies and then added a cool black pearl brad to it...yummo for a boys layout!
again another close up....

And yep...just had to add a video clip...takes me back to when I was a kid loved to dance to this one...wonder if you can remember it at all???

Prince (or whatever he is known as now...) BAT DANCE!!!

Treasure Precious Memories - WOW birdcage

Hello hope you are all well...
This layout I am going to share with you today is very special as it is a layout of my grandparents.
They are sitting in the backyard having a cup of tea (oh so English)
I have used the Words or Whatever Birdcage and 3 birds (i have only used 1 of the birds from the pack) below is a close up...

I have used gold embossing powder to cover the birdcage. I have inked the bird in white ink then coloured the wing in cold pen and added a rhinestone for the eye...
This is a close up of some flowers i have been making a bit lately...i just love the vintage feel they have with the pearls and the bits of thread whisping out of them...

The paper range I have used is by TPC and is called Grandmas Attic
And Graphic 45s A Proper Gentleman

WOW DT Baby Carriage Album

Here is an Album I have been working on for the Words or Whatever Design Team.
It is about my youngest son Fletcher.

I have used the new Kaiser Craft Lullaby paper range for this album it was so fitting with the soft blues.
I painted the edges of the mdf with baby blue paint.
The title of the album was made using some chipboard letters for the 'Our' and the Little Boy comes from the WOW chipboard title called 'Mummys Little Boy' I just cut the word Mummys off and then painted it using white pearl paint and then edges it in blue pearl paint. See close up below...

I have also used some of the WOW chipboard Baby pack it is so cute with the mini dummies and rattle and bottle...
I painted the chipboard shapes with white pearl and blue pearl paint and then used a black fine liner to go around the outlines of the shapes.

Thanks for looking - more layouts using WOW chipboard to come in the next few days...

Show Us Your Stuff April Challenge 1

For the first challenge for April on Show Us Your Stuff we had to use the colours Pink, Yellow and Blue and follow a sketch by Michelle Fowler.

Here is the Sketch...
And here is my take on the sketch...

'Clowning Around'
These photos were taken of my boys last year when they had to dress up as clowns for school for a topic they were studying at school.
I made the outfits for them out of old clothes they had.
The papers used were some old left overs I had from October Afternoon and Echo Park.

My Grandmother a few years ago gave me some quilling tools and I thought that they would help me make fantastic embellishments for this layout. The flowers i made look like firework burst...

I thought that just plain white paper was too much so i splattered pink, yellow and blue paint all over the paper just for some extra colour. I love how it turned out I'm really happy with this layout.

Once Upon A ... Sketch April Challenge

I'm not huge on Journaling on my layouts, so when I came across this fab new challenge blog I knew it would be a way for me to get more layouts done and get that journaling onto my pages...

The first challenge was a Sketch challenge and you had to have hand written journaling of at least 25 words long.

This is the sketch:

And here is my take on the sketch:

This is a photos of little Fletcher, he was only about 2 weeks old in this picture.
I have used the New Kaisercraft range called Lullaby, I just love the blues in this range very soft, although Fletchers favorite colour is Pink...
The Background paper is Delish and its from the Royal Icing - Treats range.

This is the close up of my journaling, I dont really like my handwriting, i think thats why i dont journal as much as I should, and if i do i usually use sticker alphas.

Close up of my Green Tara roses, I have put some kindy glitz on them for a little dazzle (the pic doesn't show it up very well tho)

Had to add this tag from the range, it is so appropriate.

This is a close up of the title 'Fletcher' I have used Delish white stickers...
and around the circle I have used Kaisercraft Bling
