Scrapmatts creations for Feb

Hellooooo, thought I would share my Scrapmatts creations incase you missed them on their blog!

i decided on doing some Valentine's Day inspired projects for this month.

First up I would like to share with you a tag...

'Bee Mine'

I created a mixed media background using strips of different patterend paper, washi tape, plasteres tape, Gesso and Dylusions colour sprays.

The Scrapmatts pieces I have used are the fab new CB5122 Hexagon Mesh 01, CB1085 Keys 02, and CB1159 Hearts 05

My 2nd share is a little heart hanging I created for DT and Me.

'Forever Love'

I have used Scrapmatts chipboards CB3006 Mini Heart Tray and CB1189 Scrapwords 01..... I have also used the CB026 #7 Butterfly Charm.

My final share  is a Mini Canvas

'Love/Life'

I created a mixed media background and used CB5019 Nested Shapes 05 and CB4009 Butterflies 02. I have heat embossed both pieces.

Boyzone - Love me for a reason

We call them Fletcher-isms - Scrap the Boys FEB DT Layout

This month on Scrap the Boys the challenge is to create a layout on the theme 'Out of their mouths'

Fletcher says the darnedest things at times. He always has his teachers in fits of giggles with his view on things, so we decided to call them Fletcherisms.

Week 2 #FMS Photo A Day

Im already falling behind on posting these pics :( Ive been flat out working on some projects and have a few exciting things happening around me.

So here it is...my 2nd week of 2015 #FMS Photo A Day pics...

 Day 5 - Square... I was VERY stuck on this and after seeing my friend Jody post her 'square' pic as a cushion I knew I had to do the same...but mine is of my fav on Doctor Who...Daleks!  EXTERMINATE!

Day 6 - Circle...This was easy, a photo of my new clock. The colours of this work well with my 'British' themed house.

Day 7 - Currently Reading... My Booky Wook by Russell Brand...a favorite in my collection of ebooks for my ipad!

Day 8 - Landscape...a lovely view of the sun going down on a drive home.

Day 9 - Pattern...Struggled with this one, but I love the pattern of the water in the swimming pool, its forever changing with different shades.

Day 10 - Hello...couldnt resist this pic today, Cuddles had been asleep and I crept up with the camera to try and get this pic...turned out awesome. (she does this look a lot!)

Day 11 - I See...Lucy Lou. I get this look most mornings when I go outside to give her some breakfast.

I was very lucky last night, the boys went to stay with their grandma so that DT and I could go to the movies. We saw Taken 3, it was great. 

So while the boys were away this morning I thought I would give the sketch over on Show us your stuff a go.

Avicii feat. Robbie Williams - The Days

2015 - New Year, Better Me and FMSPhotoADay

Happy 2015 and I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I know i'm a bit late with my first post of the year, but have been flat out as usual with the kidlets and SCHOOL HOLIDAYS!!! The boys are busy playing on their new games so I thought I would Sneak in a little post with the First week of the Fat Mum Slim Photo A Day challenge.

In the past I have tried to do a post everyday with each individual pic, but this time around I thought i would just do a full week in one post - also i love the fact that the photo topics are coming out once a week and not a month in advance!

 

Day 1 - The Sky...this is the beautiful view above me before everyone arrived for our New Years BBQ Pool Party.

Day 2 - Something Yellow... All day i was looking for something 'Yellow' and just as I was putting Fletch to bed...yowie...I stood on his yellow Lego 'Benny'...perfect 'Yellow' item for today :)

Day 3 - Me Today...This was taken on the deck with my Iphone :)

Day 4 - I Hear... Paloma Faith, one of my favorite artist..and this album is played almost everyday. Love it!
