Helloooo...This will be my last post for 2012. This year sure has had its ups and downs, but I am really looking forward to partying tonight and celebrating the end of 2012 and welcoming 2013.
I just wanted to share a quick layout I created for my Purple Pumpkin post. I used a sketch from Stuck sketches...here is the sketch...
I flipped the sketch, and here is my take...
This is a photo taken the day Fletch lost his 2nd top front tooth. I love kids with their big gappy smiles they are so cute.
and here are some close ups...
Washi Tape and button are from Purple Pumpkin...
Buttons and doily flower are also from Purple Pumpkin

Scissor sisters - Lets have a Kiki
I love this song as its typical Scissor Sisters style...weird :)
How is everyone??? I was going through my blog and noticed I have missed posting LOTS of layouts this year, so not to bore anyone with hundreds of layouts, I thought I would pic a couple and post them tonight before my final post for 2012 tomorrow.
This first Layout I did for Purple Pumpkin. This is my best friends little girl Mia.
and some close ups...
I have used a Kaiser Cabochon, blue heart button and heart twine are from Purple Pumpkin.
I am simply loving the bottle tops from Purple Pumpkin, this one has a pink care bear on it also I have used the pink material flower and floral button from Purple Pumpkin. The paper roses are from Green Tara.
This next Layout is one of my favourite Christmas Layouts because it is a fun one of my boys from last years Christmas Card Photo Shoot.
I used the WRMK Lucky 8 punch to create the circle shape for the background.
I cut some of the trees from the paper range and layered them up...
here you can also see a slight close up of the stitching I have done on the page using the wrmk sew easy.
The little red doily and red heart button come from Purple Pumpkin.
This layout is of my Dad and his wide with the boys at Sea World. This day was very special to me as it was on my 30th Birthday and my Dad drove from Victoria just to see me :)
a nice little cluster of Purple Pumpkin buttons, twine and orange tickets...
This is 'Me at 3'
a little misting here and there and some yummy PP embellishments...
Satin lollipop flower, Couture creations beige flower, purple spotted button and a WOW chipboard peacock feather that I embossed with gold and coloured with glitter.
And the last one...
'Carry laughter with you everywhere you go'
This is my lil Fletchy dressed up as a Clown when he was in Grade 2.
Care bear bottle top, blue/white spotted button and fluffy yellow button from Purple Pumpkin used here...
I also love the cloud buttons from PP and the Twine is so handy and it comes in soooo many colours.
Ive been trying to think of a song to end tonight's post, and I cant really find one that suits the post so I thought I would use a classic MJ song..
Man in the Mirror
What I get from this song is that I need to make the changes in my life and not expect them to just happen, but work at it and good things will come...and that's what I am hoping for 2013.
Inspired Blueprints is going to be back in 2013. I love working off sketches and was thrilled by the news when I read it on Facebook.
So a sketch was posted to get us in the mood and here is the sketch...
This sketch is one of the original Sketches from when Inspired Blueprints got started...
and here is my take on the Sketch...
I kept this layout simple as the photo of the boys was large...
There are little details here and there that I did myself...
I made this bottle cap with some of the patterned paper from this Kaiser collection...
The orange/yellow cardstock I used here was put through my Big Shot and embossed to give it that sun ray pattern. The brads here are also made by me, I used the I-top tool by imaginisce a tool I have had for ages and haven't used.
Merry Christmas Everyone, hope you have all had a wonderful day. I was awake at 5am this morning as my 2 lil ones decided it was time to wake up and open presents...I sent them back to bed...I know I may sound like a mean mum...but I have an excuse...Im not well, Ive been sick with a sore throat, and it hurts to swallow.
But I really need to get this blog in order...I know I keep saying it but I have no excuses now...Christmas is over and there is no school til end of January so I am going to be a little more organised!
This layout I would love to share with you today is for the challenge site White with 1. The challenge, White with red and a Christmas Photo.
I decided to use the photo I took of the boys that I sent to all my family and friends for Christmas. Its a little tradition I do every year since Andrew was first born.
I have used some Purple Pumpkin and a red ribbon that was from a Christmas present I received last year.
Here are some close ups...
I hope you and your family have been able to have a great day together and all the best for 2013
Hi everyone, I cant believe how quickly this year has gone, one more month to go and thats it for 2012.
A lot has happened the last month or so and are just about settled so more blogging will be happening..YAY!
Here is a layout I created for the challenge over at White With 1 the challenge was to use White, Green and Chevron pattern.
Here is what I came up with...
The only journey is the journey within
and a close up...
Ive used Scrapmatts chipboard leaves, Purple Pumpkin green spotted button and resin flowers, green flowers from my stash and that awesome dragonfly (as most people that know me I LOVE dragonflies) this is a badge and it was given to me by another AWESOME person I know... Renee...it looks great on this layout xxx
Hope you are having a great week so far, I have a few busy weeks ahead of me, but my camera will be out and about so I can keep you all up to date with what im doing xxx
I have been soooo busy this month I have neglected my blog!!
A couple of layouts to share tonight from some challenge sites - My Mojo is a little down at the moment so turning to these awesome challenge blogs helps me keep scrapping...soon I hope the Mojo is back in full :)
this first layout is for White with One, using White, Yellow and stars...this is what I came up with...
The title (is long -LOL)
If I could reach up and hold a Star for every time you made me smile the entire sky would be in the palm of my hand.
I used my Bigshot and Xcut Star Dies to create this star 'lollipop'
Black with 2 - using black, orange and lime, and Bird is the word - Word= Music
Andy love listening to music, its his very own way to chill and relax and get away from his annoying little brother...
This small cluster includes...From Purple Pumpkin...Doily music paper, Large green spotted button and Black doily....you can also see the white/orange twine too
This cute little charm is a music robot I got from D-Lish.
I forgot to post this layout I created while I was away at retreat a couple of weekends ago. It was for the September Scrapmatts challenge, which was to scraplift a DT members layout.
this is my take on the layout i scrap lifted...
and this was the wonderful page i scraplifted from...
Another Month and another Sketch from Purple Pumpkin...
and here is my take on the sketch...
I love the lace flowers they are simply beautiful. I have also used a kraft tag and green/white twine from PP. The Frame and Dragonfly come from Scrapmatts.
Make sure you have a go and post your example on the Purple Pumpkin Blog to be in with a chance of winning an awesome prize pack.
This month on Scrap Lounge we have gone PINK to honour brave friends and family members who have battled, or are battling breast cancer.
As always we have our Sketch Challenge with the theme 'Tickled Pink'
Here's the Sketch...designed by me :)
and this is my take on the sketch...
The technique challenge is to use Texture Backgrounds
this is an owl canvas I created. The background was made by using tissue paper and mod podge.
If you would like to join in on the fun for the ATC, the theme is...you guessed it...'Pretty in Pink'
Create your ATCs using ONLY pink papers and embellishments
(small amounts of white and black are permitted)
So make sure if have put your name down for the ATC group by the 7th of October
The Scraplounge Cyber Crop is on again from Oct 19-22 and the theme is Halloween/Fancy Dress.
So start searching for those old Halloween pics you havent scrapped and join us for an awesome weekend of fun, and dont forget the Bingo Crown could be yours :)
Thanks for looking
xxx
and to end this post...Pink with one of my fav songs - Sober
Over on the Kraft it up Blog this month the challenge is an awesome colour one...the colour combo is...
and here is my layout i created using the combo...
I went through my scrap box and was able to find the papers i needed for this layout, i used black distress stain, green paint, and white ink with a mask to create the back ground. I have also used gutter guard (love using this on boyish layouts), I have used a Kraft tag from Purple Pumpkin, and the windmill I created using green spotted washi tape with white and black paper. I had lots of fun creating the background for this layout cos I got really messy :)
The awesome boy/male range from Jillibean Soup called Mach Nacho Soul was the paper range i used for the Sketch challenge over at Jillibean Soup for September.
This month on White with 1 the challenge was to use White + Black + Orange.
This is the layout I came up with...
Close up of the purple pumpkin buttons I used, the orange button was originally white with black spots, so I used glimmer mist to change the colour of it to orange. and i was able to sneak an orange tag in too.
