Purple Pumpkin Post

The layout Im sharing with you is the one I just posted over at the Purple Pumpkin Blog. I have used the awesome Kaiser Craft Cock-a-doodle-doo range (again - cant help it, its so damn cute!)

The pics are of Andy when he was a Toddler, my mother in law took him and Fletchy to some event, and they had tractors, trucks and farming stuff...(thats just a guess cos I didnt go)
I have used some red/white twine around the pics and have also used the Vinyl Cogs from some sets I have purchased from Purple Pumpkin...noice!

And a close up of the cogs - fantastic alternative to flowers when your boys complain about flowers on their layouts :/

This next project is a card i whipped up.
I have used just 1 simple button from Purple Pumpkin and created this card which i can now place in my stash of cards... such a simple design yet so pretty...

I have used one of the vintage girl buttons...yummo...

And here is a chipboard frame I embossed with gold embossing powder..i love this effect (this is 2 coats)

Im hoping to create a few more layouts this week so I hope to have more posted on here..

Thanks for looking

Scrap Lounge Sketch Challenge November

Hello there. At Scrap Lounge this month they have a wonderful sketch challenge.

Here is the sketch...

And my layout.....

I flipped the sketch around to suit the photos I had. This is Fletchy on his very first horse ride earlier this year. I used the new Kaiser Craft range called cock-a-doodle-doo...it is so cute.

This here is a close up of the cute horse chipboard, a tree with some sticky bling, and stickers from the sticker sheet.

Another fellow scrapper (Anne Patterson) ALWAYS stitches on her layouts and I just love it, I had never stitched a 'word' so i thought I would have a go, and Im really happy with the result.

And the yummy Purple Pumpkin I used...this spotty button is on top of a green doily that i cut the centre of and then cut in half, and above that are the really cool felt clouds from Purple Pumpkin...I just love these and I really need some more :)
