Hello everyone, If you head on over the the Scrapmatts blog you can see my latest post all about some of the new Stencil Designs that Scrapmatts have created.
They are fantastic stencils and there are so many to choose from, I have created 4 different projects using 4 of the new stencils.
Here is a little sneak peek of what you will find on the post...
So I have decided to join in with the Facebook group Year of Photos Challenge
Most years when I have tried to do these I have lost interest by day 5, but this group is laid back and you can upload your pics any day or in any order.
So I thought what better way to get back into scrapping by having ago at some of the challenges found on Blogs. January has been really busy so I was only able to complete one. The Kraft+ challenge was the one that really stood out for me this month and it was on my MUST DO THIS list!
I hate my hand writing, I think it looks just plain awful, i usually use stickers and alphas to tell the story so this was a real challenge for me.
Photograph
Most people that know me, know my love for music and lyrics and i thought that I could write lyrics to one of my favorite Ed Sheeran songs - Photograph.
I also love the line about ripped jeans so used on old back pocket off some old jeans as a feature on the layout.
Ill be honest, Scrapbooking has taken a bit of a back seat for the last 6 months, after teaching at the June craft Show in Brisbane I had to focus on my family and home.
Over the Christmas break it has been flat out at my place, Andy went to Jamboree for Scots and had a fantastic time, Im so glad that we could give him the opportunity, and i think he has grown from the experience.
He starts school tomorrow, he has been appointed one of the class mentors which is fantastic, and shows how far he has come along with his schooling and interaction with others.

Fletch started High school on Wednesday. He is in Year 7 now and had a really good first day.
I was so impressed by the teachers at the school on the first day. they all knew about his disability and needs...including the level coordinator!!!
Fletch says he wants to be a Vet Nurse, so we are all trying to help him to set goals so he will be able to achieve this!
Fletch has also started a little spot on the Morning Radio show with Ruby on 92.9 Voice FM in Toowoomba called 'The world according to Fletcher'.
Fletch all ready for school
So now that both the boys are back at school, I will be able to get a routine started and include some 'me' time for Scrapbooking!
I have been working on a few crafty projects but they are not finished yet, but i will share them when they are ready!
I am also taking part in the #yearofphotochallenge through a facebook group, I will also be sharing all pics on my blog, but will do them as an end of month bumper post :)
So let 2016 begin... (January was my practice month....)
I'll Be Fine - Clairy Browne & The Bangin' Rackettes
(love this song, Josh Thomas uses it as his opener for 'Please Like Me')
This month on Scrap the Boys the challenge is to create a layout on the theme 'Out of their mouths'
This is my layout...
Fletcher says the darnedest things at times. He always has his teachers in fits of giggles with his view on things, so we decided to call them Fletcherisms.
There are still a few days left to get your entry in for this challenge, so make sure you head on over to Scrap The Boys and join in!
Say, Say, Say - Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson
