Stuck Sketches - September Sketch 2

I loved the 2nd sketch for September over at Stuck sketches and decided to create a Christmas themed layout...

here is the sketch...

and this is what I came up with...



I used Kaiser Craft Twig & Berry, some Kaiser and Green Tara flowers and a WOW Chipboard title.

The ribbon is some left over from a gift I was given a few years ago :)

Kraft it up Septemebr Challenge

Over on the Kraft it up Blog this month the challenge is an awesome colour one...the colour combo is...

and here is my layout i created using the combo...

I went through my scrap box and was able to find the papers i needed for this layout, i used black distress stain, green paint, and white ink with a mask to create the back ground. I have also used gutter guard (love using this on boyish layouts), I have used a Kraft tag from Purple Pumpkin, and the windmill I created using green spotted washi tape with white and black paper. I had lots of fun creating the background for this layout cos I got really messy :)

Scrap The Boys September Challenge

Recently I was away on a retreat and tackled the Scrap The Boys challenge for September.

The inspirations for the base of the layout was...

And this is the layout I came up with...

and here is a close up....



I have used a Purple Pumpkin Button and small Doily, the bottle cap is from a beer

(its amazing what you can find!!!)

White with 1 September Challenge

This month on White with 1 the challenge was to use White + Black + Orange.

This is the layout I came up with...

Close up of the purple pumpkin buttons I used, the orange button was originally white with black spots, so I used glimmer mist to change the colour of it to orange. and i was able to sneak an orange tag in too.

Whats happening on Scraplounge in September???

September is here and there are such wonderful challenges to be had over on Scraplounge.

This month its all about SPORTS.

An awesome Sketch designed by our Creative Team member Kym.

The Technique challenge on Scraplounge is BANNERS

So here is a layout I have created with a banner...

 This is lil me the night before a dancing concert I was in.

This is my banner pretty simple to make just a few triangles attached to some string... 

another close up of some kaiser flowers and the red flowers comes from D-Lish. Flourish is pretty cool too and thats from Flourish with a Bling, I cut it to make it longer and fit where I wanted it to go.

We also have an ATC group which you can join...remember to put your name on the list by the 7th of September!!! 

The theme is Black and White - so you can use papers and embellishments that are b&w EASY!

Scraplounge is also having their monthly Cyber Crop again this month and it starts on Friday 21st September - Monday the 24th. With 2 challenges and a Blind Scrap and also our fun BINGO game, there will be plenty to do so mark it in your calendar.

Purple Pumpkin September Sketch Challenge

This months September sketch challenge over at Purple Pumpkin was designed by yours truly...  :)

Here is the sketch...

And this is what I came up with..

I have used the We R Memory Keepers Lucky 8 punch to create the circle, the We R Memory Keepers sew easy for the stitched loopy border line. The twine is from Purple Pumpkin aswell as the pink heart button, the owl button and the small yellow doily.

I used the Woolworths ad as the title as Fletchy is ALWAYS singing it to me.
