Happy - March D-Lish Scraps Inspiration Challenge

 Hi everyone, thought I would share with you a layout I created for the inspiration challenge on D-lish Scraps this month.

This is the inspiration board...its called Tropical Twist.

and this is what I came up with...

This is my niece Mia, This photo was taken by Cassandra Charry Photography - this is such a beautiful photo of Mia.

I have used some awesome Scrapmatts products on this lay too ,CB5099 Grass 01,CB1189 Scrapwords 01, CW007 Happy 01, CB1158 Butterflies 20 and CB1015 Butterflies 15.

The other embellishments come from the 'Just add Paper' kit section on the D-lish Scraps Shop. This kit was designed to go along with this months Inspiration board.

Amazing - Scrap The Boys March Challenge

Last post of my DT stuff I'm sharing today with you a layout I created for the Scrap the Boys challenge blog.

The challenge for this month is to scrap a layout using , Green, Blue & Yellow

 

This is my layout...

 

You are amazing, just the way you are

 



I have had a Kaiser acetate overlay I have been wanting to use for ages, and I found it worked so well with this criteria and edge I was after with this layout.

 I drizzled watered down paint on top of the overlay for a cool effect.

The paper strips I used for this layout are underneath and on top of the acetate to create the layered look.

I also used Scrapmatts chipboard star and a flair button from Greatest View

Strong, Smart, Brave - Scraplounge March Mood Board

I was asked by Shazz, the owner of Scrap Lounge to create a layout based on the March mood board that was designed by her talented friend Kym.



I decided to take inspiration from the warm autumn colour scheme and the paint brushes to create my example below...

This is a pic of Andy (taken a few years ago at the local Japanese Gardens)

I love the way this layout turned out, the colours were amazing to work with...and I was able to use some awesome Scrapmatts chipboard on the layout and a cute heart from Charms Creations.

Mad About Scrappin February Layouts

I was so excited this month as I have become apart of the Design team for Mad About Scrappin.

 

This month we have a wonderful sketch created by DT member Amy Prior.

 

Here is my take on the sketch...

  'Friends are a priceless treasure'  

 

This layout is of my partner in craft/crime Tracey and myself at a retreat we were at a couple of years ago.

    I also created a layout as a product spotlight for the Teresa Collins Paper range You are my happy.   'You are my Happy'

Scrap the Boys - Feb DT layout

Hello again...Im going to share with you my layout I created for the Scrap the Boys challenge for February.

We had to create a layout about someone important to your 'boys'

My mum is one person that is VERY important to my boys. She has lots to do with them and spoils them rotten! The boys adore her and love having sleep overs at her house.

D-Lish Scraps February Inspirational Board Challenge DT Layout

Hello, its been a long time between posts...

My family and I a few days before Christmas were told we needed to move out of the rental property we were in as the owners 'circumstances' had changed and they had sold the house they were living in and wanted to move into the house we were in.

Our lease wasn't up till April, however DT was getting calls every day asking if we had found somewhere. Over Christmas and New Year it was very hard as there were not many places available that suited our needs....as it is we have had to go for a 3 bedroom home instead of a 4 and DT and I are squished into a room together for my craft room and his office. On the Plus side of things this new house has a pool which ahs been great with this warm weather we have been having.

So we moved a few weeks ago, and have only just sorted the craft room, and computers/internet so I can get online properly. I still have a stack of boxes to unpack but Ill get to them when I can.

Anyway this month was my last month on the D-lish Summer Inspirational board DT. This months board is called 'Love is' and has some really great inspiration to use on your layouts.
